Black Forest

The first time I saw Larissa Hadjio's  designs was when I featured Beyond The Valley Spring/Summer collection in 2011 'Cosmic Tropicalia'. I was struck by the Daja Black bum bag that instantly gave a sense of style, elegance and a great deal of artistic interpretation. Larissa grew up in Southern Germany, spent time in Argentina and Panama, studied Fine Art at Central St Martins and has been living and working in London ever since. Her work is all about playfulness and pure delight –turning sculptures into wearable objects. True to her philosophy and ideas about wearable art The Diamond Object collection exudes craftsmanship, detail and care in each piece created. For this collection she has combined  fine leather and suede creating 3D shaped diamond bags.
